Bitters & Love began in 2012 as a shared dream between friends — a sanctuary built on good drinks, good vibes, and the warmth of genuine hospitality. Over the years, our story has been etched into every corner of this bar, shaped by 14 years of laughter, friendships, celebrations, and the countless memories made by those who have come to call this place home.
At our heart is a team of passionate individuals who believe that great hospitality goes beyond what is served in a glass or on a plate. It is about showing up for one another — offering a shoulder to lean on through life's tougher moments, raising a glass to celebrate a promotion, or simply being there when someone needs a familiar face.
We are not just in the business of food and drinks; we are in the business of people and community. We aspire to be that third space between home and work — a place where strangers become friends, old friends reconnect, stories are shared, and bonds are built over a tipple or two.

Meet Ernest — the man behind the flavours of Bitters & Love. Self-taught and driven by a genuine passion for cooking (and eating), he is the creative mind behind our food, bringing heart and soul to every dish. With a keen knowledge of whiskies and rum, Ernest knows his spirits as well as he knows his kitchen. And when he’s not cooking or exploring a good pour, you’ll likely find him enjoying a fine cigar — preferably anything but Cuban.

Baileys was never just a bar dog; he was the heart and spirit of Bitters & Love.
For a decade, his gentle presence welcomed guests, offering a quiet reminder that the simplest connections are often the most enduring. Though he has taken his final walk, Baileys remains our forever guardian, watching over every pour, every toast, and every memory made within these walls.
The Bitters & Love secondary logo will forever hold a special place in our hearts — a little piece of Baileys that lives on, keeping his spirit woven into the very identity of our home.
This latest edition of our menu is dedicated to his beautiful legacy — a tribute to the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the paw prints he has left on our hearts.

Always dreaming up new ideas and pushing creative boundaries, she loves experimenting with drinks, playing with all kinds of fruits and flavours. But when it comes to her own tipple, she somehow always finds her way back to the classics — an Espresso Martini or a Negroni. Some things are just meant to be.

With a natural gift for building genuine connections, she creates the warm, soulful atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home, from first-timers and familiar faces to travellers from around the world. When it comes to her drinks, Fiona loves her extremes — a refreshing highball on one end, and a very dirty martini on the other. Because sometimes, balance is overrated.
